The Geek Fest 2022 –Kyrenia, the fourth annual festival is set to be held this Saturday in Girne.

The event which will end on Sunday will take place at the Girne Lord’s Palace Hotel.

Entrance will be free.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will be hosting its own comic book convention this weekend bringing together comic book fans from all around.

Geek Fest 2022 –Kyrenia’s founding organiser Ali Soytürk said that the event was being held with a primary focus on bringing together comic book fans in the country.

He added that the festival will feature a wide variety of activities and panels, with a larger number of attendees participating in cosplay.

Soytürk said that they were trying to promote such events which were growing popular all around the world.

“We will be having cosplay artists from Türkiye such as Edanur Hancı, Sema Özkan, and Önder Akbaş attending this year’s festival. We will also be hosting an e-sports tournament,” he said.
