Tatar received AKP Deputy Heads of Foreign Relations Ceylan and Şanverdi

President Ersin Tatar received the Justice and Development Party Deputy Heads of Foreign Relations Mehmet Ceylan and Fevzi Şanverdi and their accompanying delegation. Touching upon his recent contacts in Erzincan, the President expressed his satisfaction over the visit of Ceylan, Şanverdi and their accompanying delegation.

Stating that a message that the Turkic world will gain strength by acting together was given at the International Symposium of the Turkic World, which was held under the leadership of the Organization of Turkic States, Tatar reminded that in recent years, various meetings were held in order for the Organization of Turkic States to be more organized and to act together on different issues.

Reminding that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will attend the Organization of Turkic States summit to be held in Samarkand on November 11 as an observer member, he said this was a step towards recognition.

“With the support of the Republic of Türkiye, our efforts continue within the Organization of Turkic States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The whole world has been told clearly what the facts in Cyprus are. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been the voice of the Turkish Cypriots in the world. With the new politics, the TRNC reality has become more ingrained. Our duty is to strengthen the TRNC. We have accomplished a lot over the last two years. We received the support of Türkiye, we brought the two-state policy to the agenda, we brought a big boost to the tourism and economic potential of the TRNC with the Maraş opening” Tatar said.

Meanwhile, the Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre also received the AKP delegation at the parliament.

Speaking there, Töre expressed his happiness over the visit of the AKP delegation.

The Parliamentary Speaker said such visits culminated in increasing the feelings of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries.
