President Ersin Tatar received on Friday a delegation from the Turkish National Citrus Council which is based in Mersin, Türkiye.

President Ersin Tatar on Friday received the acting chairman of the National Citrus Council and the head of the International Society of Citriculture (ISC) Kemal Kaçmaz and his accompanying delegation.

President Ersin Tatar who welcomed the delegation said that the citrus production sector contributed greatly to the economy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

He expressed his happiness for the cooperation that is taking place between citrus growers in the TRNC and those in Türkiye.

Tatar also expressed the hope that the TRNC will continue to benefit from the experienced of the council and the studies carried out by it.
