The TRNC Ambassador to Ankara İsmet Korukoğlu paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop on Wednesday.

During the visit, Korukoğlu thanked Türkiye’s unwavering support to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in every field.

He also highlighted the importance of the historic call made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the recognition of the TRNC during his recent address at the UN General Assembly.

Also on Thursday, the TRNC Ambassador was received by the Turkish Family and Social Services Minister Derya Yanık.

The importance of cooperation in the area of social services between the two countries was discussed during the meeting.
