President Ersin Tatar on Friday received the Anadolu News Agency’s new representative to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Mehmet Kemal Firik.

The outgoing representative Muhammet İkbal Arslan was also present at the meeting.

Receiving the new and outgoing Anadolu News Agency’s representatives in the TRNC, President Ersin Tatar said that the agency had an important mission in voicing the Cyprus cause to Türkiye and the rest of the world.

Praising the outgoing representative Muhammet İkbal Arslan for his successful work during his term in the TRNC, Tatar wished him all the best in his new appointment to the agency’s office in Geneva.

Welcoming the new representative, the president highlighted the importance of the agency’s role in conveying developments on the Cyprus Problem to the public in Türkiye and the rest of the world.
