President Ersin Tatar is in Istanbul for a series of contacts.

President Ersin Tatar left the republic for Istanbul on Monday morning.

The president who is in Türkiye for a day visit will be attending various events and delivering a conference on the Cyprus Issue titled “the Strategic Importance of Cyprus and the Struggle of Turkish Cypriot People” at the Altınbaş University.

Tatar will also be awarded an “Honorary Doctorate.”

President Ersin Tatar will be also participating in the promotion of the book “Kıbrıs Sevdası” (Cyprus Love), will be delivering a speech at the Global Quality Summit as well give interviews to the on the Cyprus issue.

The president will return to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus late this evening.
