19 year old Alex Sidney, who is of Italian origin living in England, travelled 4600 km with his specially designed 2 meter long bicycle ‘Tall Bike’ and reached the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 6 months by pedalling through many countries.

He is travelling with his dog named Nova, which he found while he was riding through Serbia.

Sidney, who started his journey from England, first reached Türkiye via Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, and then Bulgaria, then turned his route to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Sidney stated that he loves cycling and that he is extremely happy to go to new places and meet new people, and that he was always curious about the TRNC and that he would like to stay here during the winter months.

He said that he wants to continue his bike tour around the world.
