Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu said that as North Cyprus, tourism products are diversified and added that they were working to get a larger share of the tourism sector in Europe.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu attended the Antalya Tourism Fair 2022 which is being held in Antalya.
According to a written statement issued by the Ministry, the Antalya Tourism Fair, which was held for the 4th time this year, brings together the professionals of the accommodation, agency and transfer sectors.
In his speech at the opening of the fair, Minister Ataoğlu said that after the pandemic, tourism returned to its old days.
Noting that North Cyprus tourism products were diversified, he said they were working to get a bigger share from tourism in Europe.
Pointing out that there is great tourism potential in the geography close to Türkiye, Ataoğlu said “our door is always open to these people who are within a 4-5 hour flight distance to North Cyprus.”
Meanwhile, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will be represented at the 2022 World Tourism Fair to be held in London between the 7th and 9th of November.
