The outgoing Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Ali Murat Başçeri said on Thursday that the “Cyprus and Atatürk” exhibition opened at Bayrak Radio Television Corporation’s (BRTK) Broadcasting History Museum should be visited by everyone.
“Everyone should visit this exhibition to have a better understanding of the loyalty Turkish Cypriots have towards Atatürk,” Başçeri said.

The outgoing ambassador expressed great pleasure to have visited the meaningful exhibition, which was realized in cooperation with Bayrak Radio Television Corporation, the Turkish News Agency (TAK) and the National Archive and Research Department as part of events marking the 84th anniversary of the death of the great leader, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Noting that the exhibition, realized with the aim of conveying the Turkish Cypriot people’s memory of Atatürk to future generations, should be visited and seen by everyone, Başçeri said, “I think it is very important for everyone to see these beautiful works and the documents stored in the secret files of history.”
