Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay has congratulated the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for acquiring non-member observer status at the Organisation of Turkic States.

Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay was among the first to congratulate the TRNC on Friday for receiving an observer state status at the Organisation of Turkic States.

He wished the Turkic World and the Turkish Cypriot people all the best.

“The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with its past and future is an indispensible part of the Turkic World. I would like to wish all the best to the Turkic World and our Turkish Cypriot brethren,” Oktay said in a post on social media.
