Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre attended an event held at the Şehit Tuncer Primary School.
The event was held in line with the celebrations to mark the 15th of November Republic Day.
Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre said that despite all the problems they were experiencing the Turkish Cypriot people did not give up or lose hope and as a result of their struggles they were able to gain their freedom with the 20th of July Peace Operation.
Speaking during a celebratory event held at the Şehit Tuncer Primary School in Lefkoşa, Töre said that the Turkish Cypriot peoples struggle continued until the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and will continue until the TRNC is recognised.
Pointing to the importance of owning a state, Töre stated that everyone should do their part for the perpetuation of the state.
