The Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu attended the 12th Türkiye Energy Summit held in Antalya.

In his speech at the summit, Amcaoğlu said that they will protect the “Blue Homeland” project with the support of Türkiye.

The 12th Türkiye Energy Summit was held in Antalya under the auspices of the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.

The Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu, who attended the summit, said in his speech that they will protect the “Blue Homeland” project with the support of Türkiye.

“We want you to know that we attach great importance to the injustice experienced in our own region, to the exclusive economic rights of the Republic of Türkiye and to restructuring in order to reach the clean, economic and sustainable energy that our country needs, and the idea of ​​how these can happen” Amcaoğlu said.

In his speech, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez stressed that Türkiye had all the instruments to become a natural gas hub with its infrastructure and gas markets.

“The fact that Türkiye is the most economical route of new lines and new resources show that our infrastructure has a potential suitable for further development,” Dönmez said and noted that they will reduce Türkiye’s hydrogen production cost from 2.4 dollars to less than 1.2 dollars by 2035.
