The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu on Wednesday underlined the need for teachers who will put their heart into their profession for building a generation who will learn basic values, embrace democracy, have a developed sense of justice and which is conscientious.

Çavuşoğlu’s words came in his message issued to mark November 24 Teachers’ Day.

In a written message issued on Wednesday, the Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu said that teachers continue to play a leading role in producing, developing and transferring knowledge to future generations.

Pointing out that teachers play the biggest part in the development of societies, he said “teachers are indispensable soldiers in the world of education and the generations they educate will undoubtedly shape the future of our country.”

Çavuşoğlu concluded his message by expressing his gratitude to teachers who he said carried out a sacred duty and were at the forefront of guiding society even in the most difficult of times.
