The Atatürk and Cyprus Documentation Exhibition which is being held at Bayrak Radio Television Corporation is waiting to receive visitors.
Documents regarding the great Turkish leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as well as newspaper clippings and books on Atatürk which is part of the collection belonging to Sait Arif Terzioğlu, the founder of Turkish News Agency TAK, are on display at the exhibition, which will remain open until December 10.
Atatürk and Cyprus – Documentation Exhibition”, Curated by Ayhatun Ateşin and prepared in cooperation with Bayrak Radio Television Corporation, the Turkish News Agency (TAK) and the National Archives and Research Department, can be visited until Saturday, December 10.
BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt who spoke on the issue said that it was always their priority to protect the materials brought from the past to the present and to transfer them to future generations.
The Director of the National Archives and Research Department Ejdan Sadrazam emphasized that the love for Atatürk is ingrained in the social genes of the Turkish Cypriots.
TAK Director Fehmi Gürdallı also pointed out that Atatürk’s principles are one of the most fundamental elements of the character of Turkish Cypriots.
