The 2023 Fiscal Year Budget Draft Law was on the agenda at the General Assembly of Parliament.
Accordingly, the discussions on the 2023 Fiscal Year Budget Bill will start on 27 December and end on 6 January.
The General Assembly of parliament convened on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre.
The decision detailing the schedule to determine the days and times for the discussion of the 2023 Fiscal Year Budget Bill was presented to the General Assembly.
It was then decided that the 2023 Fiscal Year Budget Draft Law discussions would start on 27 December 2022 and end on 6 January 2023.
Budget discussions will be completed in 8 sessions.
The report of the Economy, Finance, Budget and Planning Committee on the draft will be read by the Committee Chairperson, Resmiye Eroğlu Canaltay during the session on Tuesday, December 27 and discussions on the entire bill will start with a presentation speech by the Minister of Finance Alişan Şan.
Following the speeches, the discussions on the report and the whole of the draft will be completed and discussed item by item.
The General Assembly will discuss the budgets of the Presidency, the Republic’s Assembly and the Prime Ministry on Wednesday, December 28.
The Ministry of Finance budget and the revenues budget will be discussed on Friday, January 6.
Then, the draft will be discussed item by item and approved as a whole.
