Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) Director Meryem Özkurt and the Chairman of the Board of Directors Salih Can Doratlı visited the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu on Tuesday, inviting him to the reception that will be held at the corporation.
Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Feyzioğlu said that BRTK has an indispensable role in the national struggle.
As part of the 59th anniversary celebrations of Bayrak Radio Television Corporation, Director of the BRTK Meryem Özkurt and the Chairman of the Board of Directors Salih Can Doratlı visited the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu.
Speaking during the visit, Özkurt said that the 59th anniversary of the corporation will be celebrated on Friday at 11am and invited Feyzioğlu to the reception.
“We will celebrate the 59th anniversary of Bayrak Radio.The Bayrak Radio was founded by a handful of heroes on December 25. Since there is an election on Sunday, we will hold the reception at 11am on Friday. We will be very happy if you join us,” she said.
For his part, Ambassador Feyzioğlu expressed his happiness that the Turkish Embassy was also invited to the reception.
“The history of BRTK is the history of the national struggle. It has an indispensable and fundamental role in the national struggle. The national struggle is an ongoing struggle in the TRNC. In that respect, BRTK’s mission remains vital. Thank you for the invitation, for what you have done for 59 years, we are glad to have you, BRT,” Feyzioğlu said.
