President Ersin Tatar received the TRNC Rabbi Chaim Hillel Azimov at the Presidential Palace.

President Tatar wished all members of the Jewish faith who are celebrating Hanukkah in the TRNC a happy holiday and pointed out that every individual in the country has the freedom of thought and faith.

He said that members of the Jewish faith exist in the cultural mosaic of the country, in a sense of mutual understanding and brotherhood with other ethnic and religious groups and emphasized that differences are a country’s richness.

President Tatar wished Hanukkah to bring peace and well-being to all Jewish people living in the TRNC and the world.
