20th International North Cyprus Music Festival ends with final concert

The International North Cyprus Music Festival, which started on September 13 with a concert by Fazıl Say and Serenad Bağcan at the Salamis Antique Theater in Gazimağusa and which hosted 12 different concerts over a period of a month and a half, has come to an end.

The festival which was organized by the North Cyprus Music Association came to a close with a concert by Burcu Durmaz and the Presidential Symphony Orchestra at the Bellapais Monastery on Thusday evening.

President Ersin Tatar was among those who attended the concert.

The Presidential Symphony Orchestra led by Conductor Murat Menket was, accompanied by soloist Burcu Durmaz who performed a selection from various musicals.

Pieces from the Beauty and the Beast, Evita, Lüküs Hayat, All That Jazz, Kiss Me Kate, Damn Yankees, Les Misérables, Cats, The Wizard of Oz, the Sound of Music, Wicked Musical, Chicago Musical, Fame, Abba and Hisseli Harikalar Kumpanyası were performed during the concert.
