Planned projects in the field of social policies within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are coming to life.

The Turkish Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Rıdvan Duran who is in the TRNC for a series of contacts was received by President Ersin Tatar.

Following his meeting, he held a series of contacts and inspections.

The Turkish Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Rıdvan Duran and his accompanying delegation embarked on a series of contacts on Tuesday.

Following a meeting between the delegations of the two countries on an Action Plan regarding social services, the Deputy Minister held on-the-spot inspections at the Social Services Department, the Lefkoşa Children’s Home, the Güneşköy over 18 Rehabilitation Centre for Persons with Disabilities, the Lefke Social Services Department, the Güzelyurt Social Services Department, the Girne District Office, the Cyprus Turkish Women Entrepreneur’s Association and the Lapta Care Home.

The Action Plan aims to strengthen social services in the TRNC as well as enhance cooperation with departments in Türkiye.
