A delegation from the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry paid a visit to the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz on Monday.
During the visit studies related to the registration of Hellim as a PDO (Product of Designated Origin) and the process reached were discussed.
The Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz received a delegation from the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry.
Members of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry Hüseyin Ruso, Sercan Görgüner Bahçeci, Mustafa Betmezoğlu and Kemal Öztürk, Hellim Certification Unit Manager Kemal Öztürk, Foreign Relations Personnel Gizem Aliskan and Melis Özkara, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources Emirali Deveci, Ministry Director Mehmet Ercilasun and the head of the Livestock Department Gönen Vurana were also present during the meeting.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, said that the work carried out on the registration of Hellim as a PDO and the stage reached were discussed.
Meanwhile, prior to the first bi-communal Hellim workshop to take place at the buffer zone this Friday, an evaluation meeting was also realized.
