The leader of the Rebirth Party (YDP) and the Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı also evaluated the government’s resignation to BRT.

Expressing his desire to see a broad-based technocrat government, Arıklı said that the process to form a new government should be completed swiftly due to the ongoing problems in the country which needed to be addressed urgently.

He also added that the resignation of the government had resulted from the internal affairs of the National Unity Party (UBP).
