Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, Democratic Party leader Fikri Ataoğlu issued a message condemning the mortar attack in Gaziantep and terrorism.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu stated that he condemns terrorism, wishes God’s mercy on those who lost their lives in the mortar attack in Gaziantep and a speedy recovery to those who were injured.

“I condemn the vile attack on civilians by the treacherous terrorist organization in the Karakamış district of Gaziantep. May God have mercy on those who lost their lives in the terror attack. I also want to express by condolences to the grieving families and relatives and wish a speedy recovery to the injured” said Ataoğlu.

Stating that the Turkish Armed Forces will respond to these treacherous attacks and will hold those responsible accountable, Ataoğlu said “as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), we stand by Motherland Türkiye”.

“You will not be able to intimidate Türkiye which is power and has a deep-rooted history, with these vile attacks. I condemn terrorism, all forms of terrorism and everyone who supports terrorism. My condolences to the Turkish nation” said Ataoğlu.
