The Deputy Prime Ministry and Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment and the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) have signed a cooperation protocol for organising joint cultural and artistic projects.
The protocol was signed on Thursday by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu and the Rector of the Eastern Mediterranean University Prof. Dr. Aykut Kocaman.
The aim of the protocol is to develop culture-arts education in the TRNC and to organise more events accessible and open to the public.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Ataoğlu said that they will continue to develop relations with the EMU.
The Rector of EMU Prof. Kocaman also said that that they believed that the university will contribute to developing the country’s art and culture.
