The Health Ministry announced 588 new cases of coronavirus after conducting 23,527 tests on Sunday.

While one person lost their life against the virus 767 individuals have recovered.

It was reported that one case came from abroad, 242 individuals were detected in Lefkoşa, 145 in Girne, 126 in Gazimağusa, 34 in Güzelyurt, 30 in İskele and 10 in Lefke District.

Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported 1,971 new cases and six deaths on Sunday.
