The rise in the cost-of-living for the month of October has been announced as 3.42 per cent.
As a result the annual inflation rate has risen to 120.72 per cent.
According to the latest figures announced by the Statistical Department, the cost-of-living has gone up by 3.42 per cent in October.
This latest increase puts the cost-of-living for the first 10 months as 81.64 per cent and annual inflation at 120.72 per cent.
The highest increase was recorded in clothing and shoes with a 28.54 increase.
While the average price of 469 goods went up in October compared to the previous month, the average price of 85 goods dropped for the same period.
