The dust that has been affecting the island for the past few days is expected to subside by this evening with temperatures falling slightly to the seasonal average.

The forecast for Thursday is partly cloudy skies with isolated local showers and possible thunderstorms.

Winds will be moderate to strong, easterly to south-easterly.

The sea will be slight to moderate.

The temperatures will rise to 27 C to 30 C inland and 23 C to 26 C in coastal areas.
