The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu is continuing to pay courtesy visits to state and government officials in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Within this framework, Feyzioğlu was received separately on Tuesday by the members of the TRNC cabinet.
The new Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu continued his visits to state and government officials, visiting the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, the Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, the Minister of Finance Alişan Şan, the Minister of Health İzlem Gürçağ Altuğra, the Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı, the Minister of Interior Ziya Öztürkler and the Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy.
All expressed their happiness over Feyzioğlu’s appointment and said they were looking forward to working together with the new Turkish ambassador.
Feyzioğlu for his part said that he was happy to be in the TRNC, drawing attention to the strong bond that exists between the Turkish Cypriot people and Türkiye.
He said that the Turkish government will continue to support the Turkish Cypriot people in all fields as well as in future projects.
“The Republic of Türkiye always supports and stands by the Turkish Cypriot people in their just cause,” Feyzioğlu said.
The Turkish ambassador also provided information to the ministers about ongoing projects being carried out by the Turkish government in the TRNC.
He said that the foundation of a 500-bed new public hospital will be laid soon.
