Finance Minister Alişan Şan stated that despite all the negativities, there is serious economic activity in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Minister of Finance Alişan Şan received the head of the Board of Directors of the TRNC’S Elazığ Culture and Solidarity Association Yunus Ataş and his accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit Şan evaluated the economic situation in the country and noted that despite the pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war, with the support provided by Türkiye and the measures taken by the government, a sustainable structure and economic mobility were achieved in the country.

He also noted that with the steps they will be taking they will ensure that informal economy will be registered and that new projects will have a sustainable structure in order to increase their revenues.
