Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu also issued a message on Sunday expressing the TRNC’s support to “Operation Claw-Sword” launched by the Turkish Ministry of National Defence in the north of Syria and Iraq.

“I sincerely wish the heroic Turkish Armed Forces will be victorious,” he said.

In a message posted on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Twitter account on Sunday, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu expressed support to the cross border anti-terrorist operation carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces.

“I sincerely hope that the Claw-Sword Air Operation, launched by our motherland Türkiye to ensure its border security and destroy terrorist elements at its source, will achieve its goal and that the heroic Turkish Armed Forces will be victorious,” he tweeted.
