Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu who completed his contacts in Washington has returned to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Minister Ertuğruloğlu had held a number of contacts with US officials and other experts during his stay in the US capital, exchanging views on the Cyprus Issue.
Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu was in Washington this week and took part in a roundtable meeting on the Cyprus issue held at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, one of the respected think-tanks of the US.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic members in Washington, representatives of the US State Department and Washington Institute researchers all took part in the meeting.
During the round table meeting, Minister Ertuğruloğlu discussed various aspects of the Cyprus issue and drew attention to the benefits of a two-state solution on the island.
Having completed his contacts in Washington, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu returned to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Thursday night.
