Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, who received an invitation from his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, is holding a variety of contacts while in the Turkish capital Ankara.

While he was received by Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay on Wednesday, Ertuğruloğlu is meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu today.

Bilateral relations, the Cyprus issue and the developments taking place in the Eastern Mediterranean will be taken up during their meeting.

Evaluating his Ankara contacts to BRT, Ertuğruloğlu said that he had held a long and comprehensive meeting with the Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and that they also discussed domestic policy in addition to the Cyprus issue.

Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu is expected to return to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Friday after completing his contacts in Turkiye.
