Handover ceremonies are continuing to take place at the government ministries after Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu’s new cabinet for the National Unity Party (UBP)-Democrat Party (DP)-Rebirth Party (YDP) coalition was approved by President Ersin Tatar and read out in parliament on Monday.
Within this framework, the UBP MP Kutlu Evren handed over his duties as Interior Minister to his successor UBP MP Ünal Üstel on Tuesday.
UBP MP Nazım Çavuşoğlu handed over his duties as Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources to his successor UBP MP Dursun Oğuz.
A handover ceremony was also held at the Ministry of National Education where UBP MP Olgun Amcaoğlu handed over his duties to the new Minister for National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu.
A similar handover ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu handed over his post to the newly appointed Foreign Minister Hasan Taçoy.
On Monday, UBP MP Resmiye Canaltay had handed over her duties as Minister for Public Works and Transportation to YDP MP and leader Erhan Arıklı.
