The National Unity Party (UBP) General Secretary Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu met with the Head of the Cyprus Desk of the US State Department Sophia Berhie.

According to the statement made by the UBP, during the meeting with Berhie, who was newly appointed to the post and came to the country for a brief visit, Hasipoğlu talked about the new vision and position of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus that was put forward in Geneva.

Hasipoğlu also exchanged views with Berhie on issues relating to the Eastern Mediterranean, energy and natural gas, as well as the latest political developments in the TRNC.
