A fund-raising concert was held on Tuesday under the leadership of President Ersin Tatar’s wife Sibel Tatar and the auspices of the Presidency for the benefit of the Help Those with Cancer Association.

Thanks to the donations raised from the event, the cost of medicine for 200 cancer patients was covered.

A “Healing Concert” was held for the benefit of the Help Those with Cancer Association.

Local artist Bahar Gökhan and Ahmet Selçuk İlkan, one of Türkiye’s famous poets and songwriters performed during the concert.

Delivering a short speech at the event Raziye Kocaismail, the President of the Association stated that with the money raised from the event they were able to purchase medication for 200 cancer patients.

At the end of the night, Kocaismail presented a plaque to President Ersin Tatar and his wife Sibel Tatar.

Also delivering a short speech at the event President Tatar said that they will always continue to help those in need.

“The important thing is solidarity and loyalty in order to overcome all problems,” said Tatar thanking all those who contributed to the organisation of the event.
