Health advisory board issues new rules for passengers arriving in TRNC
Date Added: 29 November 2021

According to the latest decisions adopted by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases all passengers travelling to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as of November 29, 2021, are required to fill an online entry form 72 hours prior to their arrival.

The rule applies to all passengers arriving from abroad via air, sea or crossing points.

All arriving passengers aged six and above are required to fill in the TRNC Entry Form through the app ‘Güvende Kal’ which is available for download on Apple Store or Android Market.

Arriving passengers who do not have a mobile device must fill the entry form available on the website www.guvendekalkktc.com and obtain a printed copy to present to immigration at ports of entry.

Persons arriving from countries that do not require quarantine upon entry must create an entry form by clicking the “Travel Code Transactions” section on the app.

Children aged 6-12 are also required to fill in the form through this section.

Persons arriving from countries that require quarantine (except for under 12-year-olds) must provide an address of residence and must fill in a form by clicking the “Wristband Transactions” section.

Persons arriving from countries that require quarantine but who fail to provide an address in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will be placed in a state-monitored facility for the duration of their isolation period. These persons will be required to fill in a form through the “Travel Code Transactions” section on the app.

Turkish nationals will be able to upload their HES codes and PCR test results to the TRNC entry form. Persons entering the country can upload their vaccination certificates and PCR test results by scanning their documents via the QR code reader in the app.

Persons who will be required to isolate themselves will either drive to their place of residence alone or be driven by one person. Persons violating the quarantine rules will be sent to a state-monitored facility and will be required to pay for their own accommodation.

Children under the age of 12 will not be monitored via a wristband.
