The Health Ministry on Tuesday reminded the public on the isolation periods of persons who have come into contact with those who have tested positive for Covid-19.
According to the announcement fully vaccinated persons who have come into contact with a positive case will quarantine for seven days while unvaccinated persons will have to quarantine for 10 days.
The isolation process will only end with a negative PCR test result on the 7th day for vaccinated persons and the 10th day for unvaccinated individuals.
Persons who have received a negative test result at the end of their isolation period will be able to have their electronic wristbands removed at the closest Turkcell branch.
The Health Ministry said that the isolation period will begin from the last day the person came into contact with the positive case.
