The late Turkish Cypriot politician Ziya Rızkı was remembered on Thursday in Girne on the 28th anniversary of his death.
The first ceremony to mark the anniversary of the late Turkish Cypriot politician Ziya Rızkı was held at his bust and the second ceremony was held at his greave side.
Speaking at the ceremony, Speaker of Parliament Zorlu Töre emphasized that Ziya Rızkı has a special place in the hearts of all Turkish Cypriots.
Stating that the Turkish Cypriot people should remember the leaders who provided important services to their country with respect and should not forget them and pass them on to future generations, Töre said that Ziya Rızkı will never be fogotten.
