President Ersin Tatar and the leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration Nikos Anastasiadis will be coming together at a New Year’s reception this evening organized by the United Nations in the buffer zone.

It has been reported that President Ersin Tatar and the leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration Nikos Anastasiadis will be meeting this evening at the UN’s annual New Year’s reception in the buffer zone.
The meeting, the first of its kind in months will be of a social nature.
Negotiators, diplomats, UN officials and representatives of non-governmental organizations will also take part in the reception, which will start at 7pm.
President Tatar has met face-to-face with the Greek Cypriot Leader Anastasiadis four times since he has taken office.
Two of these meetings were held in the buffer zone in Cyprus and the others were held in New York and in Geneva, Switzerland, within the framework of the five-plus-one UN talks.
