Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu received the Deputy Minister of Technical and Vocational Education of Libya Taher Otman Ben Taher on Tuesday.

According to the statement made by the Ministry’s Press Office, views were exchanged on the situation of Libyan students studying at TRNC universities and developments in the field of higher education during the meeting.

Noting that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was a university island and there was a peaceful environment for students coming from abroad, the National Education Minister Nazım Çavuşoğlu said that they wanted to provide educational scholarships to Libyan students who want to study at TRNC universities.
