The parties which make up the National Unity Party (UBP)-Democrat Party (DP)-Rebirth Party (YDP) coalition government met on Thursday ahead of a crucial vote of confidence set to take place in parliament on Saturday.
Speaking to BRT after the meeting, the UBP General Secretary Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu said that there was full harmony between the coalition partners and that the new government would be receiving a vote of confidence.
Hasipoğlu said that Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu had briefed his party members and exchanged views with them on the resignation of the previous government and the formation of the new coalition.
He added that the members had given their full support to Sucuoğlu.
Later Sucuoğlu came together with the leader of the Democrat Party Fikri Ataoğlu and the leader of the Rebirth Party Erhan Arıklı.
