The Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Nazım Çavuşoğlu attended on Thursday an online meeting of the Ministers Session of the 4th plenary session of the Islamic Organisation for Food Security as an observer.
Turkey handed over the presidency to Kazakhstan during the meeting held in Nur-Sultan.
The areas covered by the Islamic Organisation for Food Security which was established by 36 countries include agriculture, rural development, food security, information and technology sharing, desertification, deforestation, erosion, using water efficiently and cross border diseases.
A senior officers meeting was held during the first day and the ministers’ session was held during the second day of the two-day summit.
