The Near University’s newest hospital was inaugrated in Yeniboğaziçi today.

The head of the university’s board of trustees Prof Dr İrfan Suat Günsel said that the Yeniboğaziçi Hospital, equipped with the state-of-the-art technolgical machines will contribute greatly to the public health system.

The Near University’s newest hospital in Yeniboğaziçi opened its doors to patients on Monday, following an inaugration ceremony attended by President Ersin Tatar, the Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.

Speaking during the opening ceremony, head of the university’s board of trustees Prof Dr İrfan Suat Günsel said that the hospital which would provide health services from Gazimağusa to the tip of the Karpaz peninsula was equipped with the latest in medical technology.

He also said the hospital would complement the public health system.

The ceremony came to an end with the tour of the new hospital.
