The vaccination of students above the age of 12 will continue with the latest shipment of 15,000 Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines sent to the TRNC from Turkey, the Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu said on Thursday.

Amcaoğlu who received the ‘Initiative for Education Now’ (EBI) which is demanding uninterrupted education at schools, said that everyone had a responsibility to ensure that face-to-face education continued in a healthy way.

Providing information about the ministry’s work, the education minister said that 16 new schools were currently under construction, with several classrooms added to existing schools.

He added a new vocational high school was also being built at the Metehan region.
