Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay who paid a visit to Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) to attend a special program also visited the BRT Museum and the “Döngü” photograph exhibition which depicts the Central Prison with 40 photographs.
Oktay received detailed information about the exhibition and the museum from the BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt.
Oktay was accompanied by Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Ali Murat Başçeri on his arrival at Bayrak Radio Television Corporation.
Turkish Vice-President Oktay was greeted by the President of the Board of Directors of BRTK Salih Can Doratlı, BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt and other executives at the entrance of the corporation.
Within the framework of his visit, Oktay first visited the BRT Museum and received information from BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt about the mission and development of Bayrak Radio, which started broadcasting with a car battery.
Turkish Vice President Oktay then toured the photograph exhibition titled “Döngü”, which was opened on October 10 Prison Wardens Day.
Özkurt gave detailed information to Turkish Vice-President Oktay about why the “Döngü” exhibition was opened and its content.
