A draw was held on Monday at the Supreme Election Board to determine the order of candidates on ballot papers for the upcoming local elections on December 25.

The order determined will also apply for the propaganda speeches to be delivered by the candidates on Bayrak Radio Television.

The countdown for the local elections set to take place on Sunday, December 25 is continuing.

While yesterday marked the official start of campaigning by the parties and candidates, a draw was held at the Supreme Election Board to determine the order of the candidates on ballot papers.

Representatives of 8 political parties, independent candidates or their representatives were present during the draw.

Accordingly, the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) candidates will be speaking first, followed by those of the Cyprus Socialist Party (KSP), the Rebirth Party (YDP), the National Unity Party (UBP), the Democrat Party (DP), the Independence Road (BYP), the Social Democratic Party (TDP),and the Peoples’ Party (HP).
