“The Turkish Armed Forces gives strength and confidence to the Turkish Cypriot people,” the Minister of Interior Ziya Öztürkler has said.

Öztürkler was speaking during a visit on Thursday to the Commander of the Turkish Peace Forces in Cyprus Major General Sezai Öztürk.

The Minister of Interior Ziya Öztürkler who paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Turkish Peace Forces in Cyprus Major General Sezai Öztürk said that the Turkish Armed Forces were the safeguard of the Turkish Cypriot people’s security and independence.

“Our presence of our armed forces gives us strength and confidence,” he said, wishing the armed forces continued success in maintaining its duties in the TRNC.
