The Health Minister Ali Pilli on Tuesday visited the Gazimağusa State Hospital where he met with the Head Doctor Dr. Mustafa Kalfaoğlu and hospital staff, chatted with people and wished a speedy recovery to patients.

Speaking during the visit, Minister Pilli said that he had discussed with the hospital administration the deficiencies of the hospital adding that the necessary infrastructure was established to add seven more beds to the intensive care unit.

Stressing that it was among their priorities to strengthen the health centres and hospitals, he said work will be carried out to turn the Gazimağusa State Hospital into a more comprehensive hospital.

Noting that the Gazimağusa State Hospital was serving people from Karpaz to Mesarya, Pilli added that work had started towards filling the personnel gap.
