Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu will depart for Ankara later today for official contacts.

Sucuoğlu is being accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, Finance Minister Sunat Atun, the Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı and the Prime Ministry Undersecretary Hüseyin Amcaoğlu.

Speaking at a press conference at Ercan Airport before his departure, Prime Minister Sucuoğlu said that the visit will focus on putting the final touches and signing the Turkiye-TRNC Economic and Financial Cooperation Protocol.

He added ongoing and planned infrastructural investments as well as other economic and financial projects being carried out jointly with Turkiye will also be evaluated during his stay in Ankara.
