Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu has said that the economic impact of the Russia-Ukraine war was being deeply felt in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as well as in other parts of the world.

“We will continue to fight with determination to overcome the difficulties and we will achieve success together” said Sucuoğlu.

Evaluating the latest developments taking place at an event he attended, the Premier touched upon the Russia-Ukraine war and its economic effects around the world and in the TRNC.

“Just as we were trying to minimize the effects of the pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war broke out. Hopefully it stays within those borders, but unfortunately, we feel its economic impact very deeply here just as it is being felt across the world,” said Sucuoğlu.

He said that just as they were healing the wounds of the pandemic the war emerged but added that they were determined to fight with determination and patience to overcome all the problems that the country was facing.
