PM Sucuoğlu: We are acting with Turkiye in every field

The Manavgat Industrialists and Businesspersons’ Association headed by its President Mücahit Tatar paid a visit to Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu on Wednesday.

Speaking during the visit, Tatar said they had felt the support of the
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) during the Manavgat fire and has invited Prime Minister Sucuoğlu to an event they be will holding during the upcoming Bayram holiday.

Sucuoğlu for his part drew attention to the cooperation that exists between the two countries as well as exchanges that have taken place throughout history.

“Although we are two separate states we are one nation. We have the same religion and speak the same language. Our ancestors came to island from Anatolia. We have strong bonds,” the premier noted.

He also stressed that they were and will continue to act together with Turkiye in the field of economy, the issue of natural resources and other areas.

Stating that the pandemic had dealt a serious blow to the country’s economy and affected all sectors negatively, Sucuoğlu said they were working towards overcoming these problems.

The premier also referred to the importance of attracting investors to the country.
